From Presidents to Philharmonics

"One of America's favorite harpists."

Very musical"..."Favorite harpist"..."Outstanding!"...

"Splendid performance."

Critical acclaim followed each performance by noted concert and program harpist Leslie Kaufmann. Featured recording artist, in demand for harp enhancements of special recording projects, widely known from public appearances, including television and cultural radio shows and "command performances," Leslie Kaufmann also is a gifted composer and arranger for the harp.

She was summoned to play for President Gerald Ford and has been featured with symphony orchestras and music festivals. She is often heard as a soloist, in ensembles and at special engagements at resorts, weddings, and receptions.

A pupil of internationally-renowned Artiss deVolt of Sea Island, Georgia, Leslie Kaufmann studied at Oberlin College Conservatory, Stetson University, and Jacksonville University (B.A. amd M.A.T.), where she was a member of the adjunct faculty. Many of her students have become accomplished harpists themselves.

Her compositions for the harp are among her most acclaimed repertoire and her writing includes such diverse creations as theme songs for television.

A native of Missouri, Ms. Kaufmann grew up on St. Simons Island in Georgia where she has a home.
